Clinical Point of Care Tools
Lane Library provides access to an array of powerful point-of-care tools and resources, many available as mobile apps. In addition to popular decision support tools like VisualDx and Gideon, Lane also offers a Stanford Hospital and Clinics (SHC) clinical search portal.
SHC Portal
The Stanford Hospital and Clinics (SHC) Portal is designed for the busy clinician who needs to locate an answer to a clinical question as quickly as possible. The portal features a collection general clinical resources that includes: decision support tools; drug information databases; patient education information; and several high impact medical journals. The portal also contains embedded search boxes for UpToDate, PubMed, Micromedex, Google and Google Scholar. The portal can be found in Epic at SHC and also on Lane's homepage under the pull-down menu Subject Guides.
