You may have noticed that several of our challenges were related to open science. Open science is an umbrella term that covers efforts to make scientific research broadly accessible. This includes open access to scientific publications, research data sharing, a whole host of other activities and initiatives. To continue this discussion Lane Library will be launching the Open Science Reading Group in September. The group is open to anyone at Stanford interested in learning about open science, discussing the application of open science practices in a biomedical context, and/or meeting other members of the community who are interested in (or already are) incorporating open science practices into their work. Register today for the inaugural meeting!
All meetings will be conducted virtually and are open to anyone affiliated with Stanford Medicine or Stanford University. Subscribe to the group's mailing list or sign up to attend an upcoming meeting!
